    Hello Prius family!

It is that dreaded time of needing to replace my Prius battery. I found a company that says that they can install a new, non-oem Prius battery for 2200. Has anyone here used any non-oem batteries? They claim they are new.

I had seen his thread about it. Have people found success with them? How long do they actually last?

unfortunately, we don't have any long term data on any non oem 'new' batteries. i think toaster's has been out a year or so, but that's the world of aftermarket prius batteries.
at least he is a known quantity.

There are also non-OEM prismatic cells.
I cannot recommend using them, though.
