Apple I-Phone Monopoly

    I bought a 2021 Prius Prime XLE 3 years ago mainly for economy and it has certainly delivered. However, the giant display is a complete waste. I could have gotten the base model if i really understood how lame it would be. I'm not a Apple guy because they find ways to increase revenue by backing their consumers into corners. My kids would be outsasts without their I-Phone. I'm only guessing but why didn't my 2021 Toyota come with andriod auto while other Toyotas did. The giant screen is dull boring and really poor functionally. I use my phone for gps waze. How can I improve it or get andriod auto. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

    I started using an iphone and don’t feel backed into a corner. I went from a 2020 Prime LE to a 2020 Limited and appreciate the differences. The best extra for me is the parking sonar all around the vehicle. I don’t know how to use the iphone with my car but I had a passenger once and all of a sudden her conversation was on the speakers. I don’t use a phone when driving.

    who knows why car companies do what they do? my opinion is always, 'follow the money'
