Anyone try an iPad Mini in their ride

I have the Mini but just use my iPhone in the car.

I pay $15 a month for 2GB of data on the mini. I wouldn't waste it since I have unlimited data on the phone.

Lol... Well it wasn't a thread till I replied. Before I replied it was just a simple post no one responded to. Never thought I'd be helping out Apple... LOL...

 

I don't have an iPad Mini but you could probably look into the way i mounted my 7" tablet since they're about the same size i guess.

Seems a bit excessive to me as i dont see a benefit to having the larger screen in car. I will stick with the iPhone in car but you could always go for something like this if you want to get arrested.

I use the normal iPad in my car as my Music player, pretty cool I have a holder as well. It's convenient because I just take it with me after I leave.

It's great if you have 3G or 4G oon iPad. I'm a big fan of the Waze app on iPad. I'm looking at the 1Lss iPad mount / has anyone had any experience with it ?

 

I'm looking forward to Apple's 'car play.'
Android will no doubt have something similar.

 

Sony Z Ultra GPe tucked into the hinge under the radio, 6.4" 1080p screen with unlimited data on T-Mobile... I'd take a picture of it but my only camera is on the phone itself. It fits like a glove almost like it belongs there. Combined with the Grom BT3 its a drop in place when driving and take with me when I park install. Battery is large enough that I have gone 6+ hours of screen on time while driving without needing to charge so in most cases its completely connection free dropping it in place.

 

I use it all the time, but only for my iTunes. For everything else I use my Android phone. I'm tempted to set it up as a display, but that's a shortcut to getting a $172 distracted-driving ticket.

 

Would lovet integrate the ipad mini. Then I found this, but not where we can get it...
