Anyone in UK who can fit front and rear sway bars?

ok that rear sway bar is super easy to install. this is your opportunity to learn to turn a wrench. you just need to remove 2 nuts and bolts, the sway bar will come right off, put the new one in and reinstall the 2 bolts and nuts. don't need a lift, don't need any special tools, takes maybe 10 minutes if you take your time and are careful. if you can't do it, turn in your man card. the front one is a bit of a PITA, so you can keep your card if you don't want to tackle that one.

 

you da man! there's got to be a shop near you that can install the front swaybar, and perform the wheel alignment which you will need after its done because the subframe needs to be lowered a couple inches (or 8-10 CM since you use the metric system) to weasel the new bar in. what you can do to help is spray paint the ends of the front subframe near the rear subframe bolts. you can see there are some holes in the ends of the subframe, and the paint will be on the body where those holes are. after the new bar is installed, use the paint marks to line up the subframe. in theory if you line it up perfect, the alignment will not be changed. of course in reality, there's no way to get it perfect, but the paint marks will help to get it very close. if you don't do anything to reference the position of the subframe, it could be so far off that the alignment can't be set. I hope that makes sense.
