This will likely be my last post here as I have sold my Prius and moved on to a Tacoma. I have these to sell and won't ship them, so they will likely only appeal to Michigan folks. I can make arrangements, within reason, to meet a buyer halfway. I am located near Traverse City and make frequent trips to the Lansing area, so there is a lot of geographic flexibility. These are Firestone Wintermasters, size 175/65R-15. They were purchased last year and used only for 1 winter. They are on steel Toyota Prius C wheels and have the TPMS sensors mounted. I will include the lug nuts and Prius wheel covers in the deal. I paid $434.96 for the tires alone and will sell all for $400. Email me: goldnrod24[at]hotmail[dot]com
Really? Over 400 views and NO one needs these? Winter's coming folks. I am coming to Madison, WI over Thanksgiving. Any Wisconsin folks need winter tires?
I can't speak for anyone else, but I clicked on your thread to learn the status of this particular point. Thank you for making it clear in your post, if not the headline itself. Good luck with the sale!
I can't speak for anyone else, but I clicked on the post because I am OCD and hate having a thread be dark blue. I live in Georgia and we don't use different wheels and tires in the winter.
Tempting as it is, we do fine with mostly (Traverse) city driving with our regular old tires. Have you put them up on Craig's List?
That worked for me recently. Picked a fair price, had a few low ball offers but was in no rush, they finally went.
They are 175/65R15 210.0kph (130.48mph) 84H 5Jx15 - ET39, 4x100 wheels. Yaris for sure. But I know this size was used on a lot of cars. Or at least close enough.
Yes, they are on Craigslist, but most folks don't have a Prius C and are too lazy to calculate if they fit something else. I get that; it's more than just the bolt pattern and diameter.
I'm about to discover whether they can exchange with a Hyundai Accent (MC body) which appears to match on paper. I'm doing a test fit tomorrow in my home garage.
I looked up the 2011 Accent MC - 195/55R15 240.0kph (149.12mph) 84V 5.5Jx15 ET46 4x100 ET 46 vs ET 39 is 7mm offset differential. That comes out to be 0.275591 inches. Wheel-Size.com :: Reference guide for car wheel and tire dimensions such as size, offset, PCD
I did a test yesterday afternoon and they fit fine, cleared the brakes. The wheels are unknown source, 5.5x14" steel, they came as a set of used wheels + tires for a Hyundai Accent. They worked great on our 2007 Accent for years. So now I'm just going to have them re-shod in 185/70R14. For the benefit of the original poster, your kit is likely to fit 2006-2011 Hyundai Accents and the Toyota Yaris as well, hope it helps you sell.
Two options for this year on 14". Both same wheel and same backspacing. 185/65R14 5.5Jx14 ET46 4x100 175/70R14 5.5Jx14 ET46 4x100
SOLD. Thank you to the unknown member here who turned Ken (not a member) onto this opportunity. Much appreciated.
