Is there some way of preventing low post count users from posting in the Prius v area, at least until the v comes out? Or, is there some way to put up some sort of confirmation to low post count folks attempting to post there asking if they have a Prius v wagon and if they're really sure they intend to post there?

I have no idea why it seems that newbies seem to gravitate there when posting...

They go there because it's on top. It could be labeled "ONLY COMMUNIST CHILD MOLESTERS POST HERE PLEASE" but as long as it's on top, they'll go to it like a moth to a flame.

You would be surprised how hard it is to even find Communist children these days.

Toyota has not done anyone any favors with the naming of their cars. Least of all, themselves.

I find some of the most insipid posts come from people with high post counts. Just because someone posts a lot doesn't make their posts more relevant or even interesting. Just sayin'.

My suggestion is to move the Prius v and the Prius c forums below the Gen III forum

Heh, I was wondering the same thing but one of the posts has been moved was started by someone with 500+ posts. :p

Maybe putting the year number in the forum name, 2012+ Prius v or something?

It really isn't to much of a problem and it keeps the Moderators on their toes, or at least it should. :)

Might try changing little letter v to van or station wagon.

Well, it creates work for the moderators. I'm not sure how many are actually caught by them vs. reported by users, like myself.
