Anyone install the DEI 530T window down/up module in a 2011 or 2010 yet?

I know the car, stock, can do one touch down or up one window at a time or hit all buttons for all windows at once.

I want to add the module first and next figure out how to add it the Prius II stock remote.

Looking for pointers or DIY install guide before I dig in.
    Thx.

The rear window slows down at the top and at the bottom which suggests it has position sensor. I wouldn't recommend adding a 530T to the Prius. If you're going to wire it up to the stock remote, I suggest you figure out how to get aux out from the stock remote first before adding the 530T

What does it do that the stock can't do?

I assume down too. I have that in the Lexus. Really useful for airing out hot air when approaching from a distance.

rolling up requires 1 channel, rolling down requires another channel. If you only have 1 channel to work with, up would be the choice. But, yeah, remotely roll up and down the windows.

The goal is to roll down windows via stock remote. Don't want a second remote in pocket.

man, a long while back I got barked at because I wanted an "all up/down" button. Yeah, I left one down a couple times, and it rained - I just didn't know it was still down. So, an all up/down button would rock.

The only electrical diagram I found online is for the 2010.
Can someone confirm it is the same as the 2011?

I am taking this idea to a few installers and see what they say.

10 and 11 should be the same. If you're insist on using the factory remote, you can try to build your own channel expansion. You can use the lock to trigger a pulse to timed relay and set the time to 3 seconds. You can then use the unlock as the aux channel out to trigger the auto window down. The operation would go like this, to roll the windows down, hit the lock and with in 3 seconds, hit the unlock and watch your windows roll down. It won't affect the power door lock functions. They will still lock and unlock.
