The only features i'm really keen on is the reverse beep and unlocking all four using one button push. I was just curious as to what else is out there. Where can I find this PDF? Thank you

I hope to have the 16 Four and Carista next week, and the reverse beep is first on my list. I'll let you know the results.

I used Techstream to turn off the reverse beep (actually set to 1 beep) and disabled the seatbelt reminders.

My dealer wanted to charge me $25 each to do both of my two Prius 4T. I decided to spend the money on the Carista purchase instead. I emailed Carista support to verify their software covered the 2016 but they said they haven't had a chance to try it yet on the new ones. I went ahead and used it anyway to change the backup beeper and also the momentary turn signal beep from 3 to 4. All work well on both cars. Only took about 15 minutes. Now I have the option to make changes in the future myself and put them back if I don't like it.

Can Carista register a new set of TPMS sensors for a different (second) set of wheels? As in when one has a second set of wheels with snow tires on them.

    Update:
OK, I'll answer my own question. I just received my Carista module. No Carista does not do that as far as I can tell.

I'm very new to this so I apologize if my question is stupid. After I buy the Carista app, what do I do next? Do I have to tinker with anything or just go through the app?

    Thanks for the list UCLA107.

My Carista arrived today, but I probably won't get to it for a bit.

Most of the options are self explanatory.

After having to listen to the parking sensor for way to long in the Dunkin's drive through line the other day, that 3-second turn off gets added first.

I am also hoping I can adjust the distance so that they don't go off so far away from an obstacle. To my way of thinking the alarm does little good if you are still a foot away from hitting someone's bumper.

This is the option that has me stumped. Anyone know what this is:

    Lane-change turn signal auto-flasher count
    OFF / 3 FLASHES / *4 FLASHES* / 5 FLASHES / 6 FLASHES / 7 FLASHES

When you lightly use the turn signal lever but don't "click" it into position, the signal will automatically flash the specified number of times and then turn off. It's like using the signal indicator lever as a momentary contact switch.

It made me laugh today when I thought about the turn signal clicking. That's now an electronic sound generated to mimic the sound of the turn signal relays that cars used to have. It would be amusing to replace that with some other sound.

A quack might be appropriate-- or a "honk" for those who make a distinction between a duck and a goose.

That said, I just plugged in the Carista. Changes made easily, but can anyone tell me what is meant by "narrow" and "wide" in this context:

    Front parking sensor range
    *NARROW* / WIDE

    Rear parking sensor range
    *NARROW* / WIDE

Good news for you. Carista beta version can do TPMS programming. Check carista website.

Wonderful, that's great news! I had thought TPMS might reside in a separate, inaccessible section of the car's computer(s).

Ducks and geese can certainly tell the difference! Behind my place is an estuary with lots of ducks and geese (Canada geese plus some domestic ones that apparently have chosen an alternative lifestyle). The geese make such a racket at night that I wish I could use Carista to shut them up! Maybe that too is in the beta version?

Ordered mine yesterday and with Amazon Prime, it was delivered last night. Installed it today and downloaded the App. Was seamlessly allowed to look at all of the available customizations and changed them at will. Worked so well - I do also recommend it.

If I had to guess, it's the field of vision (or detection range) of the sensors. It probably means narrow angle and wide angle.
