    Hello!
I just bought a 2010 prius and everything looks OK, except for the steering where it makes a sound (some kind of bearing wheel and cluck. Car also pulls to the right on flat road. Here’s the video.

Hopefully you guys can help me diagnose what needs to be replaced and it also makes the same sounds when i drive on bumpy roads
    Thanks!

    STATUS UPDATE:

    1. All tires check, no progress.
    2. Have tighten two bolts (upper and down) on the middle intermediate steering shaft , little progress, but still issue
    3. Performed Zero Point configuration by myself via Techstream, no progress
    4. Performed Wheel alignment at non-toyota service, both front wheels pointed to the right side, right wheel was adjusted to the correct value, left wheel could be adjusted to the left since was already max. left position.
    - little progress after alignment.
    5. Performed Zero Point configuration again by myself via Techstream, seems to little bit worse than it was before alignment .
    6. I gave up :(

I have contacted local Toyota service today and they claim at problem is 99,99% in connection between two intermediate steering shafts (45260-12710 and 45221-02050) which needs to be replaced + wheel alignment needs to be performed after change. Total cost: 780eur
Seems a common problem, after I have described issue, he offered solution directly without any troubleshooting on the car.

    Anyone have same issue ?
    Any suggestion ?

    STATUS UPDATE:
After "real" troubleshooting at Toyota, they have find at everything is OK with both intermediate steering shafts (they have change and tighten all three bolts on intermediate shafts during troubleshooting) and problem is in steering gear (45510-47050) which needs to be replaced and wheel alignment after that. Total cost: 1500eur

Does anyone know if Prius steering gear can be repaired ?
If not, it's ok to buy used steering gear from car with 80.000km or better to avoid used ones ?

Sorry, I don't know anything that would help you out. Hope someone else chimes in soon. But I noticed the video in your original post isn't working. Was it taken down?

Did you take the video down? Any update? What was the issue? How did you solve it?
