Since last august I've been raving on and on about my MPG with my 2012 PiP and it finally got to him.....Dad is 79yrs young and currently owns a 09 TDI Jetta and His wife owns a 06 Prius. The TDI is an awesome vehicle to drive and 40mpg overall is nothing to sneeze at. But I kept rubbing in my MPG and he has been growing tired of the costly diesel.

So last week i mentioned to him the huge incentives here in NY state, and today he called me telling me he is getting a 2013 blizzard pearl PiP and picking it up next week....

I told him I would work on selling his TDI for him.

    He is very excited!

Gas just dropped to $3.19 here.

Diesel has been holding steady at $3.99

We need to keep spreading the word. Owner endorsement is a powerful influence... My 77 MPG average is well out of reach for any traditional diesel. :)

congrats to dad! (y) my 92 year old father would like to have one, but he's six months here and six in florida and doesn't want to deal with it.

:)Less here (central Virginia) for diesel fuel, but way more than unleaded premium. Been a diesel owner since 1999, and the high cost of diesel got old a long time ago. Always good to hear gas prices are down, but it's always short lived.

92 years young? Past time to turn in the keys/fobs perhaps?
