This morning I got to meet Diane again. I was stuck with no ride so she acutally came by and picked me up - talk about going above and beyond. I now have a White base model PIP sitting in the parking garage and so far I have been very impressed. The transaction went very smoothly with no suprises as you expect with Diane. The car was topped up with both gas and electrons. The car is pretty standard except for mats and the Home Link mirror. I must say that I was quite impressed with the mileage. It seemed like the bars on the consumption screen were almost solid 100mpg until the battery was depleted and even after that the mileage seemed quite good. Now I just have to figure out how to display all the info that I can get from the car. So, if you live in So Cal and are in the market for a Prius then give Diane a call at Carson Toyota. Make sure you talk to Diane not to the regular sales guys - You won't be disapointed. Noel

How can I get HomeLink? HomeLink is packaged either as a standard feature, bundled within a specific trim level, or as an option on most new vehicles. You can also purchase HomeLink as an aftermarket product from MITO Corporation.
on toyota.com, they only show auto dimming mirror with home link as standard on the advanced model and not an option on the base. but evfinder says he got it on his base from dianne. maybe dealer installed?
