AB 2628, Assemblymember Paley's bill to allow usage of the HOV lanes by Hybrids that are SULEV or AT-PZEV and get at least 45 MPG (rated), passed the California Assembly today with a vote of 54 for and 14 against. Thanks for all the comments to the Assemblymembers, they obviously helped! Next step is the same procedure in the state Senate we just went through in the Assembly.
