This has happened since new, but lately I've had to reconnect my Android Auto by going into the menu and hitting the connect button almost every time I re-enter the car. It keeps forgetting the connection. Anyone having this issue, and how have you fixed it?
Have you tried deleting the phone from the car's system - then reinstalling. Sometimes things get messed up in the hand-shaking protocols and this is the result. Also double-check your phone's security settings, to allow the car to automatically connect. Since you need to manually reconnect on the car side, I'm assuming the issue is on the car side protocols.
