I have a 2008 Prius and after scraping curbs many times, it appears that the air dam has finally cracked and mostly fallen off the front bumper of my car. Do you think replacing it is worthwhile--and how much it would cost? Does anyone have any sense of what MPG drop I can expect? I was averaging about 46.5 combined city/highway. I actually noticed my MPG drop a bit in the last week...

    Thanks.

Do you mean the black plastic strip under the bumper? Is the under-engine pan still in place? I wouldn't think the under-bumper strip alone would cause a significant enough difference to warrant its replacement.
