Hello everyone, we just recently restored the air conditioning system, replaced the radiator and compressor, everything worked fine until yesterday evening. Yesterday I washed the engine with Karcher and after that I got a hybrid error and a non-working air conditioner.

The hybrid error went away after removing the terminal after 2 hours, but the air conditioner still refuses to work. I checked the fuses, and in the inverter too. Everything looks intact. In the morning the climate control panel showed errors 73,74,98. Now it says 00 but the air conditioner doesn't work anyway. What are your thoughts?

Do you have access to compressed air more than likely after your engine wash and blasting you have blasted water into the top mounted plug onto the compressor I've done this before. You need to undo that plug use some wire dryer spray or something like that and then blow the heck of it with your compressed air if you have it If not the wire dryer and slap the cord on a rag wire dryer again do the same Make sure the receptacle in the compressor doesn't have water standing in it blast it out with the wire dryer Hit it with compressed air or stuff a towel paper towel in between the pins carefully with an awl or something like that It needs to be dry or it confuses the hell out of the controls I doubt you've gotten the water into the high voltage plug but there again if you feel that's a thing you can undo it and see if you see water droplets in there most people here are going to tell you you need to pull the orange plug out of the back so that that connection is got no voltage but I'm not sure it does with the car off at the remote away from the car and all that You're not going to be touching it You're just going to be spraying it with the wire dryer the receptacle that it plugs into with the same blow it or let it dry put it back together go for a drive and make sure you got what you want

Go take a peek at the low voltage control connection on the compressor. The one that IS NOT orange.

I understand that particular connector is oriented to face upwards, and can take a shot of water a little too easily in an engine wash.
