I replaced the radio in my car because I wanted to have Apple CarPlay. The installation was a breeze (thanks Cruchfield) and CarPlay is great. The problem I'm have is there is to much glare on the screen! I can barely see it during the day. I tried a glare screen cover but that just made it to dark. I'm going to try to modify the radio bracket to angle the radio a bit one way or the other to see if it makes it any better. Anyone had this issue with an aftermarket radio and if so were they able to fix it?

I also wanted to see who has replaced their radio and what was the model they used to replace it with in case I have to swap it. Thanks in advance

I tried them before and it actually makes the screen to dark to be legible. Thanks for the idea though.

Is there a brightness and contrast control on the screen?
