Best aftermarket blind spot monitor you can get. $1 at the 99 cent store. 41lf8ARJrtL._SY300_.jpg

Some people might take this as a sarcastic or snarky answer.
    BUT...
I'm really a big proponent of the easiest, most basic answer.

My new vehicle has a back-up camera and a right hand lane turn blind spot camera, and in both cases, while I use the tools, I find the best approach is still the good old mirrors, and my own driver attentiveness.

I think Blind Spot mirrors are great, if sized and positioned correctly.

To the OP however, I suspect where can I find Blind Spot Mirrors? Isn't the answer to your question.

I don't really know. But I would suspect a google of the terms would return a world of results.
    If you want the tool?
Good Luck and if you find and install one? Let us know how you think it works.

Just don't become too dependent....I still think nothing beats looking, knowing...and good ol' mirrors.

Haha, while I can be snarky, in this case I was being totally serious. I can't/won't drive a car without blind spot mirrors, regardless of the tech in the car. I think it's one of the most important safety features a car can have and I'm surprised it's not a mandatory item on every car sold in the US. It would prevent countless accidents.

You can see how big mine are... 4". All my cars had them. I feel naked without my spot mirrors... (and that's a gross thought!)

As long as you don't drive naked without them...What is optimal position for placement? I have a pair but haven't mounted them yet, and once they're on there, they're on for good.

I didn't want to stick another mirror on top of the factory mirror because I need all of the real estate of the factory mirror. So I ordered the ones with the suction cup where you stick on the inside of the windshield.
It's called the Herbert Richter Mirror from Amazon.
It was actually shipped from Germany. Works pretty good so far, I didn't realize so much was in my blindspot, especially when merging onto the highway.

I like mine in the lower outside corners of the mirrors. I think some people use the lower inside corners.

I had a 2013 Prius II, which unfortunately did NOT have either a blind spot monitor or a back-up Camera. I think they became standard across the line the very following model year. I utilized blind spot mirrors. While I would of liked a back-up camera the absence was never really an issue. I would however highly recommend properly sized and positioned blind spot mirrors.
I now own a 2016 Honda Fit, with a right turn blind spot camera, and a back-up camera.
I thought I'd instantly love them. To be honest? It just takes some time to get use to how to use the tool. I kind of found it dangerous to ONLY or primarily rely on just one or the other.
Now that more time has passed I use EVERYTHING....back-up and mirrors. Usually I go to the mirrors First and Last, and use the camera as a immediate safety check.
I don't dislike back-up camera's, it just has been an adjustment to the reality of having one.

My aunt has them on her car and I LOVE them! I wounder would it be as simple as to just grab the power for it from the turn signal light and then wire it to the screen. I have a 2008 Prius and i put on blind spot mirrors but I hate them because it takes up too much mirror space.

I just found these RVS-118 Blindspot detection kit. $382 at this link:
Blind Spot Sensor System - Our Products
They said @3hrs 45min for an experienced tech to install. Manual is available at the link.
I had a 2010 fully loaded anniv prius. Two blindspot mirrors on the side mirrors each.
And a huge rearview mirror. When you have your signals on here, people pull out and try to pass you.
I want both... and that big center mirror had not bright reduction. Totally worth the 380 if I cannot find what I want.
Carvana can kiss my nice person. They are ruling the market and it sucks.
