    Hi.

    New to the forums.

Looking for ways to get even better MPG. So would an intake help with better MPG?

    No.

In theory, a 'cold air intake' that replaced the entire current manifold might make more HP, at the cost of less MPG. The Prius is an Atkinson cycle engine not an Otto cycle engine, so that is just theory. (reverse air flow is mandatory in Atkinson, which largly defeats it being 'cold')

The group achieving more MPG in hardware, use larger 'plug-in' battery systems. Others achieving more MPG alter their driving style.
