Advice if i should go prepaid maintenance contract OR pay as you go?

Bought my 2010 Prius II in X'mas and came with free Toyota maintenance care 2 yr or 25k miles .
I was wondering if anyone bought the prepaid maintenance contractor to extend it 45k miles? Is it worth to pay in advance? I got a quote for $440 to cover maintenace to 45k miles. Since Toyota already cover to 25k miles. What is the acutal costs for 30k, 35k, 40k and 45k schedule service? (I assumed service needed every 5k miles) I cannot justify if it is worht if comes out same or just bit more than prepaid maintenance contract.

    Thanks.

You do not need to take it in every 5k miles, as oil change is every 10k miles. Just take it in at 30k and 40k and pay out of pocket (which will be far less than $400). Rotate the tires every 10k miles.

All that extra "service" stuff is designed to seperate you from your money. All you need are oil & filter changes. Galaxee has a sticky covering what you need & what you don't need. Save your money. Change your own air filters.
