Hello all, new owner with a 2012 Advance model (79K mi).

I do a lot of long-distance highway driving and was wondering if the LKA can be added to the vehicle.

I know for many older Toyota models; you can add an OEM cruise control stalk behind the steering wheel. Once added with the airbag off, you can plug in the electrical connectors, and you have factory CC. This is a nice add for not a lot of money for a lower trim Corolla (example).

For the Prius Prime, you can buy the factory trim for the right side of the steering wheel with both CC distance button and the LKA button (it is pricey). It looks like there are 3 connectors that would mate up to connectors behind the air bag. The question is, are the other components there that are activated by this switch? I really don't need the nudging from the steering wheel, it's the 2 lane sensors that need to be present, I'm guessing the interior beeping component is already in the car.

Love the car so far, the modest 10-11 mi EV range is enough to keep the car entertaining to drive. I use it in EV mode to get out of the neighborhood and once on roads 50+, I switch to hybrid mode and back to EV when on low speeds.
