Adding a Amplifier

    Has anyone added a amplifier to their Prius? If so could you provide a few details. We have a 01 with just a cassette and a 04 with package #9. Thanks, Rick

    The '04 already has an outboard amp under the passenger seat. Were you looking to upgrade it?

    The JBL eqipped versions. The head units in both cars are Panasonic, the amp and speakers in the premium system are JBL though.

    The amp doesn't use a standard looking input though, so I'm not sure how it could be replaced. Are the line-outs at a useable voltage? These are all things that would have to be determined.
