Add Additional Wireless Remote Door Lock to Acuate Lock in READY Mode

    I am wanting to add a separate remote to acuate the door locks from inside or outside of the car when the vehicle is in the READY mode. This is the so-called, "pet mode." It would allow the use of an aftermarket wireless remote to toggle the door lock switch.

    Does anyone have any information/schematics on the circuitry for the front-seat passenger master side door lock switch?

    No - I've only used the manual key - which works well if your "pet" is your mother.

    By default, the feature of wireless lock when the door opens is turned on and can be toggled off depending on your needs.
    As long as it is toggled on, you can lock an opened door from your key fob and even in your mobile phone that is capable of a digital car key.
    If the lock is released, and you choose to open and close the door, the lock will re-engage.

    Yes, but what if YOU want to move your person to the BACK seat through the rear door? Will the shutdown timer remain disabled after the exterior driver door is manually locked and then you open the rear door and get inside the vehicle to camp? I ask, because I thought of the same thing as the original post: replicate a second door lock switch in the back of the car for "camping mode" to disable the "READY" shutdown timer.
