Wondering if someone out there might have an idea what is wrong with my AC. About three months ago the air on my 2007 Prius started acting strange. The lower speed on the fan would not blow but the higher speed was working fine. I thought must be the blower motor going out. I will wait for it to quit before I have it replaced. One day the fan motor stopped. I did not replace the fan motor right away and stopped using any heat. I have been doing with out AC because it is not hot yet. My husband has been using the outside vent for air. The other day he hit a bump in the road and the blower motor started working. He tried to get the AC to work but the compressor will not come on. He said you can't even hear it try to work. Nothing ! The fan motor is the only this that works. He said my be it might be a fuse to the AC/compressor . Any ideas what could be wrong?

I would totally start by asking your AC what it thinks the problem is. The trouble is, I only know how to ask for my Gen 1 (it doesn't require any special tool, just tapping the AC button the right way and counting blinks). If you're lucky, someone will come along and post the right procedure for your 2007.

2012 Prius Plug-In AC doesn't work above 75 degrees as the low speed radiator fans also shut off at 75 degrees. When under 75 the AC is ice cold with no issues. I never hear high speed fans kicking on. Any help would be appreciated from anyone. Thanks
