AC Compressor Failure - Does this impact battery cooling?

    We've had a failure of the AC Compressor on a 2024 Prius Prime. The dealership is still in the investigation mode for solutions.

    My question is: Is the HVAC (including the electric compressor) used for heating/cooling of the 24 prime battery?

    I have found limited info that implies this is the case, but no definitive proof. Any help or info would be appreciated!

    Yes, battery cooling and heating if you are in CA it is considered part of the clean air package that is warranted to work for 150,000 miles or 10 years.
