Too bad the deadline for the calendar has passed. This past weekend I had an excellent opportunity to take some pictures of my Prius on the beach near Seaside, Oregon. The weather was gorgeous (especially for this time of the year) and they actually allowed vehicles ON the beach. The tide was coming in, and as I was taking pictures, my precious Prius got wet. His name is Bruce, after the shark in Finding Nemo, so I guess he just missed the water and wanted to go for a swim . But I urged my boyfriend to drive it to safety quickly anyway. Esther, enjoyed the photos ... know that section of beach pretty well. The coast highway is one of our favorites. Having lived in,on and beside salt water most of my life, ( and from experience) I would strongly caution against driving your precious Prius anywhere that stuff... it's highly corrosive and gets into some places where you might never be able to clean it out. I know that there are many backward places in the world where "salt" is still used in wintertime to battle ice. At least have a good underside pressure wash ASAP. Danny: glad to see you got my mail!
Hmmm, I thought you named it after me! So disappointing ;-) I couldn't tell from the picture, and you don't have it in your sig, is it a Seaside, Tideland or Driftwood? No other color would rush to the sea like that.
It is a Tideland. Seaside was my first choice, but I expanded my options to decrease the wait time. And I'm happy I did, it's a very beautiful color
