Subject says it all. Dealer wants to replace center control assembly. This is a 2001. How can I troubleshoot this problem? Has anyone else had this issue? The fan motor blows. The dampers don’t move. The heater doesn’t work. Thanks.
Start with the simple stuff and work to the harder stuff. Start with fuses and relays, then pull the controls and check connections. Don't buy a new console, get one from ebay, craigslist, junk yard, etc.
