The German car mag Autobild is known for driving cars for 100000km and then completely disassemble them to see how they hold up.

The CT200h is the latest car to go through this test. Only two things went wrong: Twice did the reviewers manage to rip off the passenger door grip. The CT thus joins the ranks with Prius 2, Prius 3 and Auris hybrid (1st gen) at the top of their list of most faultless cars.

Check out the last picture of the gallery to see what all the parts of the CT looks like after 100000km:

It is worth noting that they received really poor fuel economy, but also that the front brakes needed to be replaced, thus indicating that their driving style might have been far from ideal for a hybrid vehicle.

All in all they really hated the car for obvious reasons since Autobild is for Volkswagen what Fox News is for the GOP. Nevertheless, the reliability results speak for themselves :)

Well. The problem is that the author is using a lot of colourful language to tell you just how awful this car is. The interior is apparently the same quality as in a commercial bus, etc. etc.
Unfortunately this completely messes with the translator.

Here is a recap of the first paragraph. Bear in mind. I'm paraphrasing here:

    - The Prius has taught Germans that "hybrid" isn't a goddess, but rather a car which now twice has passed the 100.000km test without problems.
    - In your daily driving a Prius will greet you with many annoyances pulling you away from the normal experience which you are comfortable with. This is especially apparent when the car tries to teach you how to drive more efficiently. Should it really be like this? Perhaps this is a Prius which is finally as nice as a Volkswagen Golf.
    - This is the CT200h, a Prius with a golden trim, but also with a very high price tag.

Please note the early time for changing the front brakes: 58.502 km and the insanely low fuel economy (7l/100km) compared to the users on spritmonitor.de (German version of fuelly). It is clear that this car (and the Priuses which show similar fuel economy and brake changes) have been driven hard - but look at the combustion chambers - it is still perfect :)
