I just got my new prius last night!!! I got a silver pine color 2007 prius with package #5 for $24,300 minus $400 for college rebate....bringing price to $23,900. By the way this was in Los Angeles CA. How did I do?

im very happy with it since im graduating from college and this is my first new car! to answer you question about out the door or invoice.....it was around 26,000 with taxes/registration and all.
Darn good deal. I bought my #2 for $23,350! Travel time spent to and from CA to pick it up, would be the same as spending $25K here in VA!

Re: $23,900 for 2007 with package #5...how did i do? Invoice on a 2008 Package #5 with the Rear Bumper applicate is 24704.00 I paid 25204.00 for mine because I knew the Sales Person. If you paid 24300 for yours, you have no floor mats or anything else, or you paid more and didn't realise it... I worked for Toyota and now with Lexus, and I can't see them giving these cars away.... Just my 2 cents
Re: $23,900 for 2007 with package #5...how did i do? I paid 24,000 even for a Package 5 Super White from Dublin Toyota on 12/27/2007. Invoice was 24,700 or so, but there are so many cars out there that they are willing to give them away before the year end. I have the standard Pkg 5... floor mats, trunk cover, etc and the rear bumper appliqué.
