Anyone know which phone mounts are best for the 2023 Prius? I'm bewildered due to the dash and vents appearing to not be good options for mounting one. Thank you for any help!

Your best bet is to lay it down in the tray below the dash and use Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. However, if you want to see the phone, there's a Belkin mount that fits in a cup holder. I had one, and it has adjustable wings to hold it firmly against the sides of the cup holder.

The Amazon page showing it will also present similar devides from other vendors.

I use magnets from MagBak mounted to the screen and trim just underneath to mount my iPhone in two different locations. These “mag strips” work with their cases, but also with an adapter they sell for the MagSafe wireless charger. I prefer the upper position, however on a sunny day the phone gets too hot, which is why I implemented the lower position that is in front of the left-center AC vent.

I managed to get this mount I already had to clamp onto the fat horizontal part of the vent. It was a tight fit, and I was a bit worried about pushing on the vent to get it to slide on, but it works.
