Does anyone know why the 2022 Prius L Eco has an MPG rating of 58/53
and all the other trims are rated at 54/50 or 51/47

Seems like I learn something new here every week.

Different tyres that run higher pressures as well as the lightest trim level that lets it eek out that extra mpg.

54/50 is all the other regular trim levels with 195/65R15 wheel and tyre combo.

51/47 is most likely the Touring or Limited trim levels with the 215/45R17 wheel and tyre combo.

I just saw the reply, as it sneaked / snuck by my notifications somehow.
I was thinking that the lack of extra accessories was the main reason.
Whatever the reason for it EPA MPG rating, I can't get over the price
performance dynamic of the gen 4 trims lineup for 2022

I found a clue to why the eco has a few mpg's more than the other gen 4 prius. I'll try to run down the specs sheets and see if I can verify, but I'll probably need some extra luck locating where the battery specs are hidden away per trim.
