Up until a week ago, the charger does not latch/click in. I took it to dealership and they said to push harder. I tried it out and it needs a lot of force to get it to click in. Anyone had this problem? The dealership tried a new cable and still had to force it in to click. It was fine up until a week ago. Nothing has changed.

Interesting that you point this out. I have noticed lately that when I plug the charger in it doesn't click and then I pull back out and place it again for it to click. I was wondering if there was some lubricant made specifically for the charge port/charger. (n)

yes, mostly or actually all of the times I've had trouble inserting the EVSE handle into the charger port was due to the part of the handle that fits inside the charger port being oversized or larger than most other EVSE handles. It also made it harder to remove the EVSE handle from the charger post when charging was finished.
I'm not sure it that might be the reason why you've noticed it's hard to insert the EVSE handle into the cars charger port.

I haven't heard of any, but once you narrow down the reason why it's hard to insert the EVSE Handle into the cars charger port, I'll bet you'll be able to think of a few ways to insert the handle easier than it is presently.

All you guy are in the north; I've got a really stupid question - Can your ports be icing up - the plug or socket expanding/contracting due to the cold?
Could there be a small piece of ice at the base for the socket; where the water weep hole is?

I've had a tight EVSE handle year round since day 1. Aftermarket 240v unit, I just have to push harder in my case. For us guys in the north, might still be somewhat early for much icing. But I'd expect contracting in cold. Maybe some guys who charge outside can chime in, as I've got charging port in attached garage, never gets below 48 degrees in coldest part of winter.
