Hi all, just picked up a 2021 steering wheel that came with heating while purchasing a tss2.0 steering motor for my 2016 Prius and my comma driver assist device. Wasn't expecting it to be included but now that it is - is it simply plug and play or did the car have to be specced with it? Don't want to pull apart my own steering wheel if it won't work lol.

    Let me know, thanks!

My 2021 Limited came with a heating steering wheel. On my vehicle, when I push the button to turn the heat on, an icon appears on the dash. My assumption is that that the button (switch) turns on the heat so that there must be wires connected to the wheel assembly that provides power. Not sure what the voltage is. You could test the wheel before installing it by connecting it to a battery to see if it heats up but be sure to find out what voltage is required so that you don’t destroy anything. The heat should be in the 10 and 2 positions on the wheel.

Hope that this little information helps.
