    Hi Folks,

Im a first time poster, and recent purchaser of a 2020 prime.

The car I purchased was rebuilt from an accident, and at the time of purchase, I didnt realize the AC was not working.

Anyway, fast forward to today, I took the car to my local toyota dealership, and was quoted almost as much to fix the ac as I paid for the car! Not gonna happen.

The car is throwing B1476 code - the system is still charged, and apparently (as per the dealerships inspection) the AC ACCUMULATOR AND HEAT EXCHANGER. Does anyone know what can go wrong with this unit that would cause the B1476 code?

I can buy a used accumulator locally, however this is still a fairly big ticket item. Thoughts ?

Any ideas on how I can get this repaired economically?

    Cheers

    Tom
