2020 Explorer hybrid and 2020 Aviator PHEV

    These 2020 models are finally getting a redesign.
    Little details at this time. Some stuff on the models in general if you search; the biggee being they are RWD based.
    For the hybrids, we just know that it is a parallel hybrid with a 10 speed. It will likely also be in the F150 and Mustang at some point. The battery does not intrude upon cabin space.
    The Explorer hybrid has a 5000 pound tow rating. The Aviator is targeting a 31 mile EV range, since that is a cut off for Chinese incentives. I have clue how Chinese testing compares to EPA though.

    You had it right. That is an Explorer PHEV. Europe is getting it because the Lincoln brand isn't sold there.
