    Greetings,

    Recently bought a 2019 Prius LE after retiring a 2013 Prius C.
Love the reliability & durability of the Toyota Hybrid system, I drive for a living 350-375 miles a day. My Prius C was just shy of 499k miles. No major repairs mostly maintenance & 1 set of front brakes. Head Gasket failed and the repair was too expensive, so it was time to replace the car.

Why am I posting here.. I agree with most of the Entune reviews. Toyota is way behind the curve in this area.
Does anybody know if the 2019 LE Entune version is 3.0? If it is, After seeing newer 2020 models are going to have Android Auto capability, I'm hoping my car will be up-gradable with its current head unit.

If not.. what is a good after market head unit alternative that has all the goodies?

And Toyota .. if your reading this. Multimedia Technology is huge selling point. Now that other Car manufacturers have hybrids and better Multimedia Technology.. Toyota might want to consider getting up to speed. You might sell more cars

    Thanks for reading.

Toyota’s Quick Training Guide QT618A, “Entune Head Units 2019 MY Vehicles” (available by subscription to techinfo.toyota.com) says it’s a 13.5 CY (i.e., mid-2013 calendar year) head unit, as on earlier fourth-generation Prius cars. I’m not aware of an Entune 3.0 upgrade for these.

Pioneer alpine kenwood most recent head units should work. Go to Crutchfield and search for whatever features you want, depending on how much you willing to pay. There are couple other posts on here regarding how to upgrade. And for the most part, you will keep majority of your functions. From what I know, our the smaller screen priuses of 2019 don’t have app buttons to upgrade of entune.
