Found a 2019 Prius used by a company. 280k miles on it. Well maintained. Single owner for $12k.
Obviously, my concern is the miles on it. I want it to last at least 5+ years.
With moderate driving, do you think that's viable with this car?

the car's useful life is over. you could get lucky, or it could get very expensive. no one can tell you.

I'd immediately do EVERYTHING maintenance wise for it. IE: Waterpump/Thermostat, Plugs, fuel injectors, coolant, oil, CVT flushes done. $12k IS a bit high, I would say 9-10k MAYBE..they are really good engines, but...early life maintenance will determine your experience with it.

The only way I would consider it would be if it had verifiable maintenance records showing aggressive preventative maintenance (such as 6 months/5 k mile oil changes, coolant changes, brake fluids, etc). And by verifiable I mean Via Toyota or at least sales receipts from a local dealer.

I still wouldn't touch that car unless it was like $5k. A corporate car driven by whoever that had 70k miles a year put on it.....hard pass at that price.
