In the last couple of days I have noticed the lights have a delay of a couple seconds when I start the car and don't remain on when I exit the car and shut the door. Would this be a bad switch?

That's more of a car options configuration issue. Either someone changed the car's configuration, you've just replace your 12VDC battery and lost that configuration option, or you've got a low/weak 12VDC battery causing these electrical gremlins.
Get your 12VDC battery checked at any auto parts store for free. Then reprogram that setting in your system menu (gear icon).
I haven't paid too much attention to my Prime, since it's the base model. My GMC does leave the lights on for xx second when I either turn off the car or unlock it. That option setting is under parameter lights. On or Off; If you select On, you'll be given an option for number of seconds up to 2 minutes. Nothing in the interior will shut-off when you turn off the car and pull the key. Radio will turn off as soon as you open the door.

    Hope this helps...

    PS, you posted in the Gen5 forum, You've got a Gen4 - if it's a 2017 Prius.
