OK.... I am new to this Prius v thing... Actually not even picked the car up yet. We will receive our new car on January 2nd. We got a Prius v 3.... Here is my first question... I keep reading about the "Lower case v". Is there an Upper case V? And, if so, what is the difference. Sorry about the Noob question. Sal
Before 2011 all Prius trim levels were roman numerals. So a 2010 Prius V was just a well appointed Prius. In a fit of stupid, marketing decided to call the station wagon the v in the US. It is the alpha in Japan and the + in Europe. While it is confusing to owners, i bet parts counters want to kill.
And we emphasize the v versus V thing on the forums because the answer to a question that is answered by a v owner might be of no help to a V owner, or vice versa.
