Hey guys I’m about to hit 20k on my 2016 Prius C
Have been doing all the maintenance myself since I got the car
    Oil changes every 5k
I have an aftermarket washable cabin filter I always clean when I do the oil changes, top off fluids and I have CAI from injen so I clean that filter as well
I clean the battery air filter in the back under the seats (if there is an aftermarket filter for that I would buy it too, let me know)

Any one recommend any maintenance, tips or things I can do to keep my car as healthy as I can ?
I plan to keep this for life

    Thanks in advance

You should plan on the car needing a new hybrid battery every 8-10 years. Right now they are just over $2k, so if you set aside about $250/yr you'll have it covered. You should also plan on a new 12v battery every 4-5 years, budget $250 for that item by itself. Probably due this year if yours is original.

Don't forget to replace engine coolant, inverter coolant and brake fluid, the schedule recommended by Toyota is good enough. It's in the owner's manual and also available from techinfo.toyota.com

Consider replacing the transmission oil- According to Toyota it's fine to leave in forever, but some people like to replace it every 50k or so.

We've just rolled through 38k on our 2018.
