    Hi All:

I'm looking for 2015 Prius Persona Red, and my location is near Philadelphia PA, does anyone know the fair price for this model? I understand 2016 Gen IV is coming soon, so I believe now is a good time to bargain the price. Please suggest the price for Persona Red.

Hope I can get the car soon and share all information here.

    Thank you
    Kevin

Here in California, a member was able to get one for $22300, and that was pearl. I believe red would be $22000.

But prices actually have increased about $600 since memorial day so you don't necessarily get better pricing as time goes by

It might be worth waiting for possible early 4th of July sales at the end of June.

Really, does those sale worth to wait? I mean if I really want the car in that price next week, will they tell me to wait for early 4th of July sales?

I guess it depends on your personal preference, how much time you are willing to spend negotiating, and timing of your need for a new car. If you have a car that is in good shape, it might be worth waiting. If you are concerned about it breaking down any day, then the peace of mind of a new car might be worth passing up any end of the month savings.

I know that they started the Memorial day sales a whole week before Memorial day. If they do the same for the 4th of July, it'll coincide with the end of the month for June.

Either way, best of luck and enjoy your new Prius! As long as you are happy with it, that's all that matters.

I'm the guy that got blizzard pearl persona for 22300. You can just email all local dealers then as if deal merges then you can haggle them over phone. Typically it's best to go at end of the month when dealers are trying to meet quota. If possible go to dealerships that are more isolated and not near major freeways because less foot traffic means they're more desperate for you. Remember don't be intimidated because it's your money. They should be afraid of you because they need you and should do whatever you ask to close a deal.

Hope this helps and good luck!

FWIW, here in Oregon I just paid 22600 for a Persona Absolute Red (law got a great deal for blizzard pearl at that price). Seems like a perfect storm to make a deal on 2015's in that gas is cheap (for now) and the Gen IV's are coming at the end of the year. New is currently cheaper than used around here with the current incentives.

Thank you for all the information, I already email 2 dealerships and they can beat truecar price for $23800 in my local area zip code, they also say they can give me a better than $23800, so I believe that is still a long way to go for $22300. So right now $22300 in CA and $22600 in Oregon, I will try my best in PA.

You are not going to get the absolute best price that you'll find on the internet. You need to be realistic about this

To the OP - what did you end up with and for what price?

In late June, I purchased a 2015 absolutely red persona for $22k even. It also came with some options, including car alarm, paint protectent, pin-stripping, floor mats and all around window tint (a nice addition). After taxes and fees I paid $23,438 OTD.

Good luck to all in finding the best deal!

Rebates vary at different times, a few months ago when gas in California was cheap, Toyota was running a $2000 rebate on Prius, then a refinery fire, and a big gas price spike (gas is now $4+) and the rebate was quickly dropped to $1000.
