In surveying my options of vehicles, I just came across a 2015 Prius Four with the Solar Roof package - it has everything I want, BUT has 100k miles already. I think the dealer could come down on price, seeing that the mileage on a 2.5 year-old vehicle is so high, but its in GREAT shape. What should I consider doing to the vehicle to make sure it lasts another 10 years or til 250,000 miles? Vehicle Listing CarFax
just the regular maintenance, plus change the tranny oil and clean the egr and intake manifold. maybe do the brake fluid more often than the schedule recommends. hard to guarantee 250k without a major expense though. all the best!
What are they asking? Have you seen it in person? Try a test drive. That's a lot of miles, assuming 2 years on the road, 137 miles, each and every day: how do you manage that?
Likely purchased in 2014 as 2015 model. I would check to see if it was used as Taxi. Some Taxi specific communication devices mounts and screw holes might be good give away. Also check shocks and struts by driving over small bumps. Lights including fog lights. Check for frontend/backed bumper damage/replacements. Bumper mounting gaps and inter wiring close to bumpers may be good sign.
My 2010 is a Taxi and I daily do 150miles a day during the week. If it has full service history and has no history of knocks/accidents then I would see that as validation that it is a straight but high mileage car 2010 Gen 3
