So thinking about buying this 2015 Prius 2 with 14,000 miles. It was registered as a "commercial vehicle" so im assuming rental. It's also certified. Dealer listing as $17k, which i think is a bit high.
Anyone know what this would go at wholesale? What's a good target price?

Turned in a 2-yr lease on a '14 Two at 18k miles. I think I saw the dealer turn it around and sell CPO (non-commercial) listed at $18k here in Texas. No idea what it actually sold for.

Out of curiosity, CarMax offered $13.5k but my residual payment would have been $14.7k.

Buyer got a car that was well serviced. Dealer advertised it as having a clean CarFax, but it had been in an accident requiring body and steering/wheel work; fully repaired.

Yours is a newer car, fewer miles, cheaper price but used commercially. Seems to even out, but always beware undisclosed prior damage.

That horribly overpriced, and it was a fleet vehicle, which means god knows what happened to it. Almost no one treats commercial vehicles properly, so they have issues faster than a normal single owner car.
