    Howdy!

Took out the Stealth Panda today after an overnight rain, and heard water sloshing around in the vicinity of the dashboard. Everything was dry in the car and under the hood, and a little plugging around online suggested a scuttle drain cleaning is what I need.

On Gen 2, it appears easy. However, getting to the drain holes appears more involved on a Gen 3. It would appear I need to remove the windshield wipers to remove the cover over the drain area. Can someone confirm this? Considering my mechanic re-installed the wipers last time, probably with an air-driven wrecj, I will probably need him to do the job of loosening them again. :)

Yes you've got to take the wipers up and off and then unclip the plastic tray and pull up the wiper trim with the wiper motor and everything still in the car you can get something down the scuttle drain you'll see it it's up on the passenger side kind of heading towards the middle of the car almost as a whole where everything drops down and there's probably more places too it's in the schematic if you have a sunroof there's also sunroof tube drains in the corners but that's another story.
