So I was driving and all of sudden dash lit up like crazy. Felt like turning it off and on would remedy the issue but cars aren’t like computers. Had to get a short tow to the house. This is second or third time driving after car was picked up two weeks ago which was at a body shop for a month to get a front end collision fixed - bumper and headlight.

Took the 12v battery out and found out it was bad which was 4 years old and bought a replacement. Still no luck. Plugged in my techstream and found 4 codes
    U0110
    C1259
    C1310
    C1541

I took the safety fuse out and plugged it back in but no luck. When I push the brake the power button turns green and when I push the power everything seems to be working to include the inverter (I can hear it) but when I let the brakes go, the light on the power button turns amber.

Any ideas? Should I have the insurance take a look? Any input would be much appreciated. Thank you. Car has 112,000 miles and I’ve done every maintenance item on the car. C7141E1F-2F04-4A97-BC30-08F3828C28DC.jpeg

Looks like a big job, I’d take it back to the shop

Was hoping someone had similar experience… thinking maybe the accident might have had impact to the various ECU.

I've had the holiday display appear while driving, in one case with ASC ABS loss evident, in another with ABS and REGEN braking lost, Former was traced to a contaminated wheel speed sensor connection (ABS ASC), latter to a faulty/internittent OBD2 sensor connectivity (ABS REGEN). Cleaned road salt spray from wheel speed sensor connection, restored a solid OBD2 connection, and display and driving continued normal.

Found the culprit. It was a 10amp blown fuse to one of the ECU. All dash lights gone except check engine but I’m guessing it’ll go away with a short drive. So relieved.

If your check engine light is on, you have a trouble code(s). Connect your TechStream again and check for trouble codes.
