2013 Prius V Sun Visor replacement Driver's Side (left)

    Hi!

    I just learned that my spouse's driver's side sun visor has lost almost all of it's spring, and is now hanging loosely and requiring Velcro to keep it up and prevent it from being an obstruction. The car is a 2013 Prius V.

    I've been looking around online for a replacement as it seems to be a fairly easy DIY project, but I can't seem to find any that do not come directly from Toyota for $125+. I've been able to easily find 3rd party options for almost every Toyota model except the Prius for ~$30.

    Does anyone on this wonderful forum happen to have any insight as to where I may find one a bit cheaper, or as to why it may be difficult? I'd love to at least know if I'm on a wild goose chase and need to suck it up and pay the dealer.

    Lastly, I'm hoping to do a full replacement rather than get an accessory to simply hold up the visor.

    I would check with LKQ Salvage yards, usually local, also they are online and often on ebay.

    When I had to replace my wife's visor on a Highlander Hybrid, I checked with a half-dozen dealers in my state and another handful that I sometimes order parts from online - same story across the board, on backorder (10-12 weeks).

    This dealer in Miami, however, had one in stock and the guy told me they have a warehouse in the north part of the state where they keep extra parts at. Looks like they may have one for the 13 v (light grey at least). Good luck!

    One question, do they have different color options? (Wouldn't want to choose the wrong color)!

    they should, i think that one is light grey. if you have any doubt, just give them a call and give them you're vin and they'll get you taken care of. i did that to triple-check on mine and they ran it through w the internet price no problem (would cost way more i think if you walk through the door)

    Check out VisoRiser metal visor fix. I have one on each visor, and they work beautifuly. Auto sun visor quick fix-The VISORiser will make your car visor stay up-Lt. Gray | eBay
