I'm going all electric and must sell my 2013 Prius Persona with less than 45,000 gently driven miles. The paint shines like new and the Black Cherry Pearl color is stunning (even better than it shows in the pictures). The body is in perfect shape with only one dime size dent. The black interior looks and wears like leather. This car is extremely clean. It has always been kept in a garage when not one the road and well cared for. The car has never been involved in any major accidents with only minor body work to keep it in pristine condition. The tires are new and all scheduled service has been performed at the local Toyota Dealership. The car is in North Tustin, California and has never seen the snow. It has an excellent sound system. Driving this car is a pleasure with 17" wheels and build-in Navigation System. Many other features, too numerous to mention. Clean title. This has been the best car that I have ever owned.

I think you will come to regret going to all electric. Keep "the best car you've ever owned" and just drive it.

(I'll give you 8K cash for it)

Range and potential trip time extension? I know one trip we do at least a couple times a year has us going down to So Cal which is ~400 miles one way. Current all electric cars won't make it.

But if only doing local trips, there should be no regrets.

would guess that most would think that through before making decision, but maybe not. if they did, they would have no regrets, because they would know what to expect.

the only people i've read about who would have regrets are auto writers, who didn't understand what they were reviewing. fortunately for them, they aren't owners.

Is @Just.Drive.It. the new Coast Cruiser/Coast Rider? He's gotta get a new motto to stay under the radar.:p
You have a very nice car that should sell very quickly (I'm thinking people pay for the Persona $). SoCal goes nuts for the Prius and the rare special edition especially. I'm assuming you haven't only posted your car on PriusChat, right? Craigslist and Autotrader will attract more buyers.

Range anxiety is definitely a concern. I plan on getting a Tulsa Model 3 with the extended battery (310 mile range). Tesla has been wise enough to build lots of supercharger stations and is in the process of increasing that number three fold. So I have no anxiety about making long trips.

I would get anxiety when the Tesla breaks and you need service. Have you ever driven anywhere and seen a Tesla service center? You know they need to mainstream service along with mainstreaming cars?

There are actually 8 or 9 service centers in OC/LA. It's farther away than a dealer, but they ship your loaner to you and tow your car to the center...all from your house. Of course, the Model 3 owners may have to pay a premium compared to the S and X owners. They are really expanding their network quickly. However, their cars aren't being produced quickly (my reservation is estimated in Spring 2018). You probably won't get the Model 3 until early next year, so perhaps you should keep your Prius for now. I'm concerned about reliability, but they are trying to make it right the first time, unlike the Model X. Hence the long production time.

They probably don't have enough loaner cars for the masses of projected model 3 owners

I think its a nice car for sale and nice to have the owner say how well it was cared for.
