2013 Prius 2 For Sale

For sale by owner is my 2013 Prius 2 for $8900. I am the second owner and have had the car since August of 2021. Selling because I'm able to work for home. I've done a complete head gasket job including new gaskets, cylinder head resurfacing (have receipt), OEM Toyota water pump and OEM Toyota bolts, and spark plugs in Sept 2021 and have put a 16000 miles on the car. I have verified that the piston rods are not bend either. The EGR was also cleaned thoroughly and should be good for another 50-100k before the next maintenance cleaning. The car runs excellent and I consistently get 55 mpg on both highway and city. The car does not burn oil either or leak coolant. This means this car is more reliable than most other generation 3 Prius' out there.

Also I do have the Carfax from the previous original owner which shows the full maintenance of the car including synthetic oil changes every 5k miles.

- All maintenance is up to date including synthetic oil change 500 miles ago
- No issues with hybrid battery

- Original paint perfect and no fading anywhere

- Everything works from heater, AC, windows, door locks, all lights, EV mode, radio, USB/MP3 connect to phone, etc, etc

- Registration good until August 2023
- Fresh synthetic oil change at 270k (2/28/2023)
- Trailer hitch (wasn't used for heavy towing but rather for cargo carrier)

Car has high highway miles but should be good for at least another 250k miles considering a properly done head gasket job, full maintenance, and have tested over 12000 miles since. Also keep in mind Prius taxis get 500k+ miles easily. I do drive the car every week so hybrid battery is in good shape as well.

Yes still available. Has almost 273k miles on it now. I've also added a back up camera on the oem factory screen which works great.

 

Lowering price to $8400. I still drive it couple times a week and everything works great. Always parked in the carport/shade. OCC has been drained couple times between oil changes and usually OCC is about 1/4 filled.
