Recently noticed that there is a small airgap between the glass and rear plastic spoiler.
Not at mounting points but along length of part.
Should be a seal/gasket so that water can't sit in that space?
Should be wide enough to let water drain?

I have a 13 and when I spray water on the back hatch it will run down past the spoiler where it meets the body and run down that little tiny glass window that looks straight back I thought this was normal and I don't think I would seal that that's where the plastic is probably gotten hot and just stretched or whatever you want to call it I'm not sure if I would fill that space up with I don't even know what polyurethane like they mount the windshield with or something like that that's the stuff I would use if I was going to do that because when that stuff sticks to the spoiler and to the body or whatever you will have to have physical tools to get it undone like a scraper and a razor blade Don't do this if you want to take the spoiler off or something that's for sure I also use the same permatex windshield polyurethane the stuff they mount windshields with to make my front and rear bumper covers stay on squirt a little bit into the slot where the clicker is push the bumper cover in there put a piece of tape over it give it an hour and when you go to pull that bumper cover off the next time you think you need to you'll be ordering a new one it'll pull the tabs right off so I do this after I've done headlights anything that people think they're taking the bumper cover off for I make sure all that's done because when I put the bumper cover back on and if I need to take it off again and the urethane is on there it's going to be hell to pull off and you will be getting another one but that's how I like it I don't like the tabs popping out and parking lots and all this kind of nonsense.
