Hi. My 2012 Prius V had a check engine light due to a bad ignition.
After service, the battery was disconnected to reset the check engine
Ever since, my trip computer keeps overestimating my range. It believes it has superpowers and can go for 400 to 450 MI which is ridiculous.
I fill up every 200 miles to be safe, I keep waiting for AVG MPG to reset the computer. It keeps over estimating range.
    Any suggestions?

Over 400 Miles To Empty from a full tank is normal, in my experience. I've seen and driven nearly 440 miles on a tank.

There are at least 2 gallons left when the low fuel light comes on, probably one gallon when the gauge shows empty.

    The tank is 11.9 gallons.

With that said, you need to look at calculated mpg. EPA is 42 mpg. Lifetime will be less which is displayed with the non-resettable total car miles.
