2012 PIP at 180k. It will drive normal for about 2-3 miles and then the the ECO/POWER light on the HSI will flash and the ABS-Traction lights will light up and the Regen braking stops working. CC works fine. I read that this may be a failure of the Skid Control ECU which is part of the Master Cylinder assembly. Is that where I should start looking? Thanks.

It is certainly some issue being reported by the skid control ECU, which is what controls those lights. Calling it a "failure" of that ECU is nearly always a shoot-the-messenger mistake: the ECU will nearly always turn out to be working fine and just doing its job to tell you about some actual issue that you ought to know about.

You should proceed directly to finding out what it wants to tell you. If you don't have an OBD-II code scanner, you can get the trouble codes by using a short jumper wire and counting blinks on the dash lights, as numerous PriusChat posts describe.
